Role Overview: A Cloud Architect is responsible for overseeing a company’s cloud computing strategy, which includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. They ensure that cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and efficient, and they work closely with IT teams to deploy and manage cloud applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure and architectures
  • Managing cloud environments (public, private, hybrid)
  • Ensuring security and compliance of cloud solutions
  • Collaborating with development teams to create cloud-based applications
  • Monitoring cloud performance and optimizing resources

2. Education

  • High School (Secondary Education)
    • Focus on subjects like Mathematics, Computer Science, and Information Technology.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (4 years)
    • Field of Study: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS), Information Technology (BSIT), or related fields.
    • Institutions: Top universities in Pakistan such as NUST, FAST, LUMS, GIKI, UET, etc.
  • Optional: Master’s Degree (2 years)
    • Field of Study: Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS), Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or related fields.
    • Institutions: Similar to bachelor’s institutions.
